RGS (mixed, UK) asked me to produce a new logo, and new kit designs for them before the World Ultimate Championships 2014.
With pink as the brand colour from previous incarnations, this was used in the new designs too. The team opted for hot pink shorts, which worked well with the comparatively calm white and grey shirts.
On the white shirt, seven goaltimate hoops signify each of the players on the pitch at any time, in blue and pink to represent the men and women, and tie into the team’s goaltimate roots. On the grey shirt, the queen’s head, such as would be seen on a British coin or postage stamp, is used to make sure there’s no mistaking where the team come from. At the back, a subtle RGS and crown design covers the bottom edge of all the shirts. All shirts feature the team’s latin motto on the right arm/shoulder.
